Car free holidays

A Keycamp holiday is all about doing your own thing, at your own pace in your own time... and that includes the way you travel to your parc. However you wish to get there, we can assist you – all of the options are there. And if you’re looking for a   holiday without taking or hiring a car, we can help organise that too!

There are plenty of options to choose from and to make your choice even easier, we’ve recommended some parcs below which would make ideal destinations for a car-free holiday.

Many of our suggestions include details of public transport, while others will just require you to take a taxi transfer to the parc. While you’re on parc, everything will be close at hand to walk to or just a cycle ride away.

Our parc recommendations are based on the following features:

  • located within 15km of the nearest port, airport or train station, allowing you to take a taxi transfer for the remainder of your journey to the parc
  • have cycle hire available on parc, allowing you to discover the local region easily
  • are located 1km or under from the nearest beach (if they are a coastal parc)
  • may offer a range of parc-run excursions (subject to demand)
