Set amidst the beautiful pine forests of Porto Conte Natural Park, this parc puts some of Sardinia's premium scenery on your doorstep.

You can enjoy the views from the parc’s recently renovated pool complex, which is the centre of entertainment in high season with water polo and aqua aerobics on offer. Or, try your hand at canoeing available at the nearby private beach which is accessible from the parc. The parc’s restaurant specialises in local fish dishes and the takeaway offers a variety of delicious options. Activities and evening entertainment galore are on offer for all the family on-parc, while cycling and horse riding are also available in the local area.

    Grottos of Neptune

    The famous Grottos of Neptune, the largest underwater cave complex of the whole Mediterranean may be reached by sea, leaving from the port, or by land, climbing down the Escala del Cabirol, from where it is possible to take in the panorama over one of the most beautiful seas of Sardinia, from the enchanting bay of Porto Conte, passing the city of Alghero, through to the southern coast of Bosa.

    Porto Conte National Park

    Located just north of Alghero, this natural park is home to 150 different species of bird and various species of flora and fauna. There are some fantastic walks available here, suitable for all abilities, from the leisurely strollers to the more adventurous hikers plus plenty of birdwatching opportunities too. Tours and activities are also available on the park, run by qualified instructors. It is recommended you wear suitable footwear for walking and take your own water and refreshments.

    Nuraghe di Palmavera

    One of the largest and most important sites from the Nuraghic Civilization in Sardinia. Explore the remains of this ancient palace and surrounding circular huts just north of Alghero

    Necropoli di Anghelo Ruju

    This pre-nuraghic necropolis dates back to the early Copper Age (3300-2700BC) and is a popular tourist attraction close to Alghero airport
