With a relaxing atmosphere, and a close location to the channel ports, this château parc is ideal for young families or a first visit to France.

Situated just three miles from St Valéry amidst the lush meadows of a private château, this Castels parc offers excellent facilities, including three swimming pools surrounded by a sun terrace. For the active there is tennis, mountain bike hire and mini golf. The restaurant and cosy lounge bar are perfect places to spend the evening. There are also many wide, sandy beaches to visit along this stretch of coastline.

Only conventional swimwear, such as swimming trunks are allowed in the pool.

Please note: New for 2012, the site has introduced an internal card payment system on site which all customers will require for purchasing goods of any type while staying on parc. This can be purchased using cash or credit card from site reception on arrival.

Customer Suggestions

Take a look at some of the local recommendations for days out and activities our customers have shared with us following their holiday at Château de Drancourt.

"St Valéry town has lovely buildings, nice shops, a good selection of bars and restaurants and good mini golf. Fort Mahon plage is a lovely long, clean, sandy beach backing onto sand dunes."
I. Hutchinson, Tyne and Wear

"We went on a steam train at St Valéry which was very enjoyable. We also spent a day at Aqualud, which although quite a drive away was a brilliant day out."
J. Fensome, Kent

"St Valéry, Le Touquet and Le Crotoy are all very nice places with plenty of charm and character."
A. Buckley, Wiltshire

"Bagatelle theme park is excellent - we actually ran out of time to do everything on the park. The big cat show was fab. Had a great experience taking the little steam train around the Somme. In St Valéry itself there's a great play park at the end of the promenade and the town is home to loads of great cafés and restaurants. Le Crotoy is also lovely and lively, with beautiful beaches."
A. Haughton, Renfrewshire

"Aqualud, St Valéry and Dieppe were all great places, and the Boulogne Aquarium (Nausicaä) is superb, the best I've visited."
A. Horley, Kent

"We really enjoyed the Indian Forest, St Valéry, the Somme Battlefields, Le Crotoy by steam train and Abbeville."
C. Herbert, Dublin

"St Valéry town had some lovely walks and restaurants including a delicious crèperie on the ramparts. There's also an excellent mini golf area on the boardwalk with a terrace bar. Two trips we'd highly recommend are Thiepval and Monet's Garden. Thiepval has a huge memorial to some of the allied soldiers who died at the Somme and from there we went on to the museum at Peronne which displayed artefacts and uniforms fromthe war. Monet's Garden at Giverney was a 2 hour drive from the site - it was magical and definitely worthwhile."
A. Thomas, Oxfordshire

"We loved St Valéry, the little steam railway, war memorials and the many beaches. St Valéry's Sunday market is wonderful."
E. Rayner, Kent

"In St Valéry itself we enjoyed an evening walk along the riverside followed by a seafood meal at Le Bistro restaurant. Would recommend a day trip to Le Touquet and if you're there while it's on (April), go to the kite festival at Berck-sur-Mer. The cathedral and shops at Abbeville are wonderful and the little town of Montreuil-sur-Mer (made famous by Les Misérables) is beautiful."
D. Hurst, Lancashire
