Customer Rating

4.5/5

Based on a customer satisfaction survey

Set in French countryside, you might not expect to find a parc with so many facilities to offer for kids and adults alike and all within easy reach of ferry ports.

Your first sight of the magnificent 18-hole golf course confirms that this is no ordinary parc. Set in 250 acres of château parkland and woods, this parc is extremely popular with our customers, particularly teenagers, and becomes very lively in high season. Children will love the waterpark with its four-lane waterslide and the newly built indoor pool complex and outdoor wave pool, great fun for all the family to enjoy. You will also find a lake where pedalos can be hired or you can relax and enjoy some fishing. There is plenty of entertainment all season long, and you can choose from either the cosy bar with terrace or restaurant to relax in during the evening.

Families travelling with small children please note that some of our treehouse pitches are located close to open water. Please call for more details.

Customer suggestions

Take a look at some of the local recommendations for days out and activities our customers have shared with us following their holiday at Château des Ormes.

"We went to Cancale for lunch overlooking the oyster pickers. Recommend Dinan for unspoilt medieval buildings and Mont St Michel because you must do it once."
S. Park, Cumbria

"Mont St Michel was a good day out and a visit to Alligator Bay is good for a rainy afternoon. St Malo is a great place to visit too. The kids usually complain when sight seeing but they enjoyed exploring Mont St Michel and St Malo."
V. McCullogh, Cheshire

"We really enjoyed exploring the ramparts in St Malo. Cancale was great for the oysters and Dinan for the cobbled streets."
S. Stewart, Cheshire

"We thought Mont St Michel was a magical place but very busy. We went to St Malo twice and visited the walled town with great shops and great value restaurants - we had a beautiful 3 course lunch for €20. We also went to Cancale twice and had a dozen oysters for €6, a great day out. Dinan and Dinard are beautiful towns and Dinard has a beautiful beach and great restaurants too. Dol-de-Bretagne was good for parking and had lots of lovely shops. The market was vast and sold everything one could want! We had a fantastic holiday and hope to be able to return to France again next year."
P. Brady, Wicklow

"We visited 2 zoos which were good (La Bourbansais and Champrépus). Mont St Michel was good but not very buggy-friendly. St Malo old town is good but be warned that all nearby car parks have low entry height restrictions. The Grand Aquarium in St Malo is very good."
R. George, Cambridgeshire

"La Bourbansais Zoo was fab. St Malo was a beautiful town and we visited Jersey from here. Cambourg is a lovely town with some fantastic restaurants and very friendly people. Cobac Park was great fun, well worth a visit. Go early and stay all day and take a change of clothes!"
J. O'Donnell, Westmeath

"Mont St Michel was a lovely place. For fresh shellfish, go to St Malo via the coastal road. There are lots of farms next to the sea en-route - couldn't be fresher. Delicious."
P. Coulton, Derbyshire
