Fancy exploring the local area by bike but don't want to bring them with you? Then why not stay at one of our specially chosen Lifecycle parcs. We offer our own low-cost cycle hire service and free guided tours on a selection of parcs, so you can discover the very best of the area on two wheels.

Lifecycle bike hire

Our specialist Lifecycle couriers can offer you a selection of bikes to suit all sizes, plus bike and helmet fitting. There are 4 different bikes to suit the whole family, from 3 years (with stabilisers) all the way up to adult size. Plus, child seats and trailers are also available.

Cycle hire for the whole family, direct from Keycamp is available at the following parcs for 2012:

• Les Sablons, Portiragnes Plage
• Club Farret, Vias Plage
• La Chapelle, Argélès
• Les Deux Fontaines, Raguénès Plage
• Les Menhirs, Carnac
• Bel, Tranche-sur-Mer
• La Torre del Sol, Miami Platja

Adult prices start from only €2 for a half day and €5 per day. Better yet, book rail travel to your parc with us and you’ll have FREE bike hire for the duration of your stay at ‘Lifecycle’ parcs.

Lifecycle Tours

Our Lifecycle couriers also offer free guided tours of the local area. Suitable for beginners to more advanced cyclists, these tours can take you to places you might not find in the car. If you fancy exploring on your own, the couriers can offer advice on cycle routes you can follow yourself.

Tours are available at the above Lifecycle bike hire parcs, plus the following:

• Carnac, La Grande Métairie
• Trinite-sur-Mer, De la Baie
• Argelès-sur-mer, Le Soleil
• St Cyprien, Cala Gogo
• Miami Platja, Playa Montroig

Although these parcs do not benefit from Lifecycle bike hire, bicycle hire is available either on-parc or in the local area.

Cycling notes

We have a variety of notes on many parcs with several cycling routes for all levels of cyclist. The routes range from a couple of miles (to a nearby village and back) to slightly longer rides (along minor roads and riverside cycle paths). Each of the notes has a detailed Fact File, as well as step by step directions and a map.

To view our Cycling Notes, log on to 'myKeycamp' once you have a booking reference, or pick up a copy from the Keycamp reception on selected parcs (see table).

Learn to Ride

On selected Mini Fun Station parcs, you'll find our free Learn to Ride sessions. Run by specially trained couriers, these sessions will help children aged 3+ to master the basics of bicycle riding in a safe environment.
